Coaching that adapts to you

My Approach

You already have the answer — I help you find it.

Coaching doesn't work because someone has the right answer for you. It works because you find it yourself.

It sounds simple. But it's anything but obvious. Most of us are used to getting advice, reading concepts, applying tips — and yet little changes. Not because the advice was bad. But because it came from the outside.

In coaching, we turn that around. I walk alongside you as you find your own answer — one that truly fits you, your life, your values, what really matters to you. I've experienced this myself. And it changed something in me that no business plan could have created.

I work with the Co-Active approach — the belief that you are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. My focus is on the whole picture. Not just the problem that's on top right now. But you — what drives you, what holds you back, what you may have known for a long time but haven't yet said out loud.

We work together, as equals. You set the direction, I accompany the process — with clarity, structure, and real presence. You bring yourself — with everything that is right now.

What emerges is often more than a solution. It's a moment that sets something in you in motion. Lasting. Transformative.

A Conversation with Mike Matter: A Coaching Approach Based on Equality

My Coaching Formats

We start with a free introductory conversation — 30 minutes, online or by phone, directly bookable on the Contact page. If the chemistry is right, the first session follows: we clarify your concern, see whether we're a good fit, and discuss which coaching package suits you.

When you decide to start, you book your package — and we begin with Discovery. In two sessions, we explore together what really moves you, what you wish for, and where you want to go. Discovery is the foundation for everything that follows. Only then do we decide in which format we'll continue working.

  • The coaching Space in Hindelbank — a quiet, bright space with a round wooden table, two armchairs, and warm light. This is where your coaching process begins.

    Hindelbank coaching space

A quiet, protected space at Kirchweg in Hindelbank — deliberately designed for confidential conversations without distraction. This is where your coaching process begins: in the first session we get to know each other, clarify your concern, and define your goals together.

Especially when you want to to regain your energy or sense that something wants to fundamentally shift in your work or personal life. Here you find calm, clarity, and full attention.

  • Laptop with a video call for online coaching from home

    Online coaching

No room, no setting, no fuss — just you, a conversation, and this moment. Online Coaching is meeting in its most reduced form: by video call, from wherever you are right now. The connection needs no particular place.

Especially when you're  in the middle of your studies with little time to spare or finding a new direction in your career — a format without travel makes the difference. All formats can be freely combined.freely combined.

  • Forest path in the Emmental region as a setting for Nature Coaching

    Nature coaching

Nature Coaching takes place at deliberately chosen locations — a quiet forest clearing, an open meadow, by a stream. I choose the spot. The setting isn't just a backdrop, it's an active element in the process: wind, openness, stillness — nature sharpens awareness and gets thoughts moving that often stay stuck in closed rooms.

Especially when you notice that everyday life is becoming a bit too much — a different setting can be the first real breath.

  • Open path in the Burgdorf region for Walk & Talk Coaching

    Walk & Talk

Those who walk think differently. Walk & Talk uses exactly that: movement creates distance, supports thinking, and gets things flowing that stay stuck when sitting. We plan the route based on your needs — slower for sensitive topics, brisker for decision-making questions.

Especially effective when you sense that a new beginning is on the horizon but don't yet know in which direction. All it takes is the decision to set out.

  • Quiet, personal outdoor spot for coaching at Your Place

    Your Place

Some people are most open when they feel safe. When the setting feels right. I come to you — your couch, your garden, your terrace. You don't have to go anywhere, prepare anything, or settle into a new place.

Especially when you notice that outside impression quickly exhaust you, a familiar place can be exactly the space where you open up best.
